About 2024 Zumunta National Scholarship
By investing in the education of Northerners, Zumunta continues to play a pivotal role in fostering academic excellence and socio-economic development in the Northern region of Nigeria.
The goal of the Zumunta Association National Scholarship Program (ZNSP) is to provide financial support to qualified Northerners who are interested in pursuing a baccalaureate (bachelor’s) degree in selected areas of education in Nigerian universities.

2024 Zumunta National Scholarship Requirments
- Must hail from one of the Nineteen Northern States and the Federal Capital Territory.
- Must have gained admission into a degree program at a Nigerian university recognized by the National University Commission (NUC).
- Must have passed the JAMB (or equivalent) exam with a qualifying score or possess valid WAEC (or equivalent) results.
- Must demonstrate financial need through appropriate documentation.
Selection Process
Applicants will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Letter of admission into a recognized Nigerian university degree program.
- Passing grade in JAMB (or equivalent) or valid WAEC (or equivalent) results.
- Demonstration of financial need through appropriate documentation.
- Submission of a two-page essay on the “Importance of the chosen field of study to Northern Nigeria.”
