Applicants must meet the following:

Be Early Career Ocean Professionals or enrolled in a Master’s or PhD program at a recognized institution
Be based in a Western Indian Ocean country
Align research with the thematic focus of the call
Be able to start fieldwork before 31 May 2026
Collaborate with a host institution that can administer grant funds in accordance with programme requirements
