Aalto Science Institute (AScI) International Summer Research Programme 2026 at Aalto University in Finland is a fully funded 12‑week summer research assistantship designed for talented bachelor’s and master’s students (and recent graduates) from around the world. The program offers the chance to work on cutting‑edge science and engineering projects, while also experiencing Finnish culture through social, outdoor, and cultural activities.
Monthly salary: €2000+ (depending on study level)
Travel bonus: €400 (within Europe), €800 (outside Europe)
Paid vacation: 1 week during the program
Housing support: Assistance in finding low-cost student housing
Visa/logistics support
Participation in “Get to Know Finland” course
Access to cultural, social, outdoor, and sporting activities
Regular lunch gatherings and a final poster exhibition
Open to all nationalities
Applicants must be current bachelor’s or master’s students or recent graduates
Strong interest in research with relevant skills
Must be proficient in English (no official test required if studies are in English)
