About ATPP Scholarship in Nigeria

ATPP Scholarship provides a structured accelerated pathway for in-service non-education teachers in Nigeria to gain professional certification and TRCN licensing while continuing to teach. The ATPP Scholarship leads to a PGDE or PDE through a blended six-month programme designed for practicing teachers.

The programme is coordinated by the Federal Ministry of Education in collaboration with NTI, TRCN and accredited institutions nationwide. Participating institutions and study centres deliver the coursework, supervised practicum, and assessments that qualify graduates for TRCN registration and licensing.

ATPP Scholarship in Nigeria Requirements

• Be non‑professional teachers with non‑education degrees currently teaching.
• Hold HND, ND, OND, or Bachelor’s degrees with classroom experience.
• Have at least 24 months teaching experience.
• Be serving in public, non‑state, ECCDE, primary, secondary, TVET, or community education settings.
