About Adelaide University Research Scholarship
Adelaide Research Scholarship supports outstanding graduate researchers pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Master of Philosophy (MPhil) at the University of Adelaide, providing a living stipend and a 100% tuition fee waiver for the duration of the award. The focus includes additional allowances for eligible Indigenous applicants and relocation or OSHC where applicable.
The scholarships are administered by the Adelaide University Graduate Research School and include named rounds such as the Signature Research Theme (SRT) Scholarship Round, the Graduate Research Talent Scheme, out-of-round awards, and specialised MRes opportunities. Adelaide University Research Scholarship Requirements
- Available in every discipline area to support outstanding candidates pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy or Master of Philosophy degree
- International graduate researchers with any major scholarship administered by the Adelaide University Graduate Research School are entitled to a fee waiver for the standard duration of candidature
- For the SRT EOI: complete your qualifying program by 28 February 2027 if located outside Australia
- For the SRT EOI: complete your qualifying program by 31 March 2027 if located in Australia
- Some SRT projects may have residency/citizenship exceptions and project-specific eligibility requirements
Application Date and Process
- Submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) via the University’s project website to apply for SRT scholarship projects
- Respond to all questions in the EOI form and comply with character limits (including spaces)
- If successful in the EOI, submit a formal application for admission and scholarship consideration as invited
