Opportunity Details
The Umholi we Africa (UwA) Fellowship is a premier leadership pathway designed to accelerate the next generation of ethical, mission-driven African public leaders.
Support senior public leaders with research, policy analysis, and advisory tasks.
Assist in project planning, budgeting, monitoring, and evaluation.
Draft policy briefs, reports, speeches, and communication materials.
Facilitate stakeholder consultations, community engagement, and outreach.
Receive leadership training, mentorship, and coaching through the AL for Governance network.
Emphasis on ethical leadership, accountability, and innovation.
Must be an African national.
Graduate of the African Leadership Academy (ALA) or the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program.
Hold at least a university degree.
Minimum of 4 years professional experience.
Demonstrated passion for public service and aspiration for political/policy leadership
