The African Liberty Writing Fellowship is a highly competitive programme designed to nurture the next generation of African policy writers and thought leaders. Participants gain practical experience in crafting persuasive articles and commentary on issues affecting the continent.The fellowship begins with an intensive five-week training programme, where participants learn the fundamentals of writing for public audiences. After the training phase, selected fellows continue with the fellowship, publishing articles and engaging in intellectual discussions on policy and governance.
The African Liberty Writing Fellowship is a paid opportunity, providing financial compensation to fellows. Payments are performance-based and tied to monthly assessments conducted during the fellowship.
