About African Union - African Continental Free Trade Area Internship Program
The AfCFTA Internship Program offers students and recent graduates a unique opportunity to gain practical experience at the African Continental Free Trade Area Secretariat in Ghana. This program is designed to expose participants to the workings of the AfCFTA, enhance their analytical and technical skills, and provide international exposure in a multicultural environment.

African Union - African Continental Free Trade Area Internship Program Requirements
- Be nationals of a Member State of the African Union and residing in Ghana.
- Final year students enrolled full-time in a fully accredited degree program in Interpretation and/or Translation.
- Full availability for a minimum of three months.
- Proficiency in one of the AU official working languages (French, English, Portuguese, Arabic, Kiswahili, Spanish) and fluency in another AU language is an added advantage.
- High level of quantitative and IT skills.
- Very good ICT skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office suite.
- Capable and willing to work in a multicultural and international team environment.
- Committed to upholding and adhering to the rules and values of the Institution.

- Register if you are a first-time user of the online registration system.
- Provide as much relevant information as possible.
- Submit a motivation letter addressed to the Administration and Human Resources Directorate.
- Submit a copy of a valid passport or identity card.
- Submit a current curriculum vitae (CV).
- Upon successful submission, you will receive an email confirmation.
