The Major Cultural Projects 2026 program by the Alfred Kordelin Foundation provides substantial support to ambitious, innovative Finnish initiatives in science, arts, and public education. By funding integrated projects with long-term impact, offering professional development, and supporting ongoing activities through bridge funding, the Foundation ensures sustainable innovation and cultural advancement across Finland.
Grant amount: €100,000 – €300,000 over two years
Bridge funding: €50,000 – €150,000 for already implemented projects demonstrating ongoing impact
The grant is intended for collectives and registered associations with Finnish Business ID.
A working group (such as a research group or an artist group) may apply if the official applicant is, for example, a university, a registered association, or another collective. Individuals cannot apply for the Major Cultural Projects grant.
