About American Psychological Foundation COGDOP Graduate Student Scholarships
The purpose of this scholarship program is to assist graduate students of psychology with research costs associated with the master’s thesis or doctoral dissertation.

- Amount: 9 scholarships of up to $5,000
American Psychological Foundation COGDOP Graduate Student Scholarships Requirements
- APF encourages applicants from diverse backgrounds with respect to age, race, color, religion, creed, nationality, ability, sexual orientation, gender, and geography.
- Graduate students enrolled in an interim master’s program or doctoral program are eligible to apply. If a student is currently enrolled in a terminal master’s program, the student must intend to enroll in a PhD program.
- Students at any stage of graduate study are encouraged to apply. Applicants must be enrolled in the graduate program at the time grants are awarded.

- brief proposal of thesis or dissertation project (even if in progress – 10 pages max, not including references)
- department endorsement
- CV
- transcript (an unofficial/student copy is acceptable)
