Opportunity Details
The objective of the Philippe Maystadt Prize for the Teaching of Tomorrow? To reward the best end-of-studies, bachelor's, master's and doctoral theses of students in the Wallonia-Brussels Federation (Belgium), which cover the different dimensions of education, with a particular focus on higher education and which are potentially transposable to the level of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation.
The Prize pays tribute to Philippe Maystadt, Minister of State and former Chairman of the Board of Directors of ARES, who died on 7 December 2017, for his active contribution to teaching and research in the Wallonia-Brussels Federation.
Baccalaureate Prize
The "Bac" prize, worth €2,000, rewards a final thesis at the end of the 1st cycle of studies defended in a course of study at a higher education institution, a higher school of arts or a higher education institution for social advancement (short bachelor's degree and specialized bachelor's degree).
"Master" Prize
The "Master's" prize, worth €2,000, rewards a 2nd cycle end-of-studies thesis defended in a course of study at a university, college, school of arts or a higher education institution for social advancement (master's, master's degree in specialisation, doctor, veterinary doctor and upper secondary education teacher).
"Doc" Award
The "Doc" prize, worth €4,000, rewards a doctoral thesis defended with a view to obtaining the academic degree of doctor.
