Benefits of Art Fund London Gallery Weekend Travel Bursaries
- What they can fund: Accommodation (arranged by London Gallery Weekend at a Central London hotel) and travel to and from London (including public transport while in London).
- What they cannot fund: Per diems, meals and beverages, transportation to/from train stations or airports.
Art Fund London Gallery Weekend Travel Bursaries Requirements
- Eligible applicants must be curators involved in acquisitions, exhibition programming, or artist commissioning. Applicants must be based outside London and work at public museums, galleries, visual arts festivals, historic houses, libraries, or archives in the UK.
- Organisations must be open at least half the week for a minimum of six months per year and accredited or provisionally accredited through the Arts Council Accreditation scheme or an equivalent. Supported organisations often hold collections in contemporary art, fine and applied arts, design, archaeology, or social history and must commit to increasing public access.
- Ineligible organisations include private limited companies, public limited companies, unlimited companies, sole traders, general partnerships, limited partnerships, or limited liability partnerships.
