This grant programme supports research and engineering projects developing new technologies to better understand glacier and ice-sheet behaviour.Its goal is to improve scientific observations of ice systems that influence global sea-level rise, especially where current monitoring methods are limited.
To ensure that our funding reaches projects with the highest potential for impact, we have established the following eligibility criteria:
Age Requirement: Applicants must be at least 18 years old at the time of application.
Geographic Inclusivity: Applicants working outside of their home country must include at least one team member from the country where the project will be conducted. This requirement ensures local knowledge and collaboration and enhances the project’s relevance and impact in the target region.
