Opportunity Details
The ArtReach Community Arts Programming Grant empowers young artists and organizers from equity-deserving communities in Toronto to design and deliver arts-based programs for peers facing systemic barriers. The initiative prioritizes sustained engagement, skill-building, and opportunities to participate in professional-level arts programming, fostering confidence, identity, and community belonging.
The grant offers two funding streams:
Stream 1 – First-time Applicants
Up to $10,000 per program
Open to applicants launching a new initiative for the first time
Stream 2 – Returning Applicants
Up to $15,000 per program
Available to previous ArtReach grantees, including individuals, groups, or collectives
Encourages proposals that build on prior experience and demonstrate strong artistic and community outcomes
Eligible applicants include:
Individual artists aged 13–29 from equity-deserving communities
Youth-led collectives, groups, or organizations with leadership from equity-deserving individuals aged 13–29
Toronto-based applicants delivering programs within the city
Applicants able to design programs that directly serve youth from equity-deserving communities
Application Submission: Complete the provided application template detailing project objectives, actions, deliverables, and budget.
Program Design: Ensure programs are structured, sustained, and centered on arts skill development.
Participant Engagement: Deliver programming free of charge, providing meaningful opportunities for youth to grow artistically and socially.
Reporting and Accountability: Provide transparent reporting on program outcomes, participation, and budget utilization.
