The Equinox Grant Program supports Indigenous artists and collectives in New Brunswick to develop artistic practice, create new work, and foster connections within the Indigenous arts community. The program encourages both traditional and contemporary art forms, emphasizing professional growth and community engagement.
Maximum grant: $10,000 per applicant per fiscal year.
Eligible pplicants
Indigenous professional artists (self-taught, traditionally taught, or formally trained).
Curators, collectives, or groups led by Indigenous artists.
Must be Canadian citizens affiliated with a First Nation on Turtle Island, permanent residents, or individuals with permanent residency applications in process.
Must have lived in New Brunswick for at least one year.
Ineligible: First Nations governing bodies, school-based projects, projects for academic credit, or activities already funded by another artsnb program.
