The Arab Alliance for CSO Development (AACSOD) is a 5-year flagship program established by NGOi in partnership with the Ford Foundation and the Asfari Foundation to provide services to civil society organizations (CSOs) in the Arab World. These services include tailored organizational development, capacity building, institutional strengthening, contextualization & Arabization, knowledge sharing, and organizational certification.

AUB Global Health Institute Arab Alliance for CSO Development (AACSOD) Program 4th Cycle Requirements
To be eligible to apply to the AACSOD program, you must:
- Be a charity, not-for-profit, non-governmental or civil society organization
- Be legally registered and operating in Lebanon, Egypt, or Oman
- Be serving communities residing in Lebanon, Egypt, or Oman
- Have completed at least 1 project or 2 years or more of operations in Lebanon, Egypt, or Oman
- Be able to invest time and commit team effort to implement performance improvement steps at the level of the organization
- Have principles and values that are supportive of diversity, equity, inclusion, fairness, respect to human rights, and responsibility towards the community.
- Be able to communicate in Arabic and/or English
Application Date and Process
- To apply to the AACSOD program, please fill the application form below. As part of the application, you will be asked to submit a letter of intent, legal documents including notice of registration, bylaws, and articles of association, as well as one progress or final report of a project that your organization has implemented in Lebanon, Egypt, or Oman.
- Shortlisted CSOs will be contacted via e-mail by the NGOi team for an online or in-person meeting.
- Selected CSOs should be ready to start their organizational development journey in January 2026 – and are expected to attend a virtual or in-person training on the web-based platforms and systems that will be used as part of the program.
