The Waitākere Ranges Local Board Local Grants program supports community-led projects that align with local priorities, focusing on outcomes that enhance environmental protection, public health, and social wellbeing. Grant range: $1,500 to $12,000 per project or activity
Funds are awarded to support eligible projects aligned with the board’s priorities
Funding is contingent on completion of accountability requirements
Grant recipients must:
Include local board branding on publicity and signage following council brand guidelines
Acknowledge the Waitākere Ranges Local Board as a supporter in media releases or public communications
Extend invitations to local board members for events or functions funded by the grant
