About Audible Grant Opportunity for Youth Audio Storytelling Projects
The Audible Initiative is a grant programme that supports UK charities in integrating Audible’s audio content into youth development programmes.
The initiative encourages organisations to create engaging listening experiences that help young people explore stories, develop critical thinking skills, improve literacy, and build confidence through audio learning.
Rather than creating entirely new programmes, participating organisations are expected to incorporate Audible content into their existing youth activities.
Benefits of Audible Grant Opportunity for Youth Audio Storytelling Projects
- Grant funding between £15,000 and £30,000 to support programme design and delivery, determined by programme scope and youth reach
- Access to complimentary memberships for programme participants
- Onboarding support and implementation resources
- A shared metrics framework
- Public recognition as part of Audible's official programme launch
- The intention to grow these into multi-year collaborations with organisations that demonstrate strong engagement and measurable impact
Audible Grant Opportunity for Youth Audio Storytelling Projects Requirements
- They are seeking small to mid-sized charities that deliver direct programming to 150 to 300 underrepresented youth ages 12 to 18 outside of formal school settings, in structured, recurring settings such as after school clubs, community centres, and youth development organisations, as well as charities with a specific focus on literacy. Selected organisations will incorporate Audible into their existing programming, creating intentional moments of discovery through workshops, listening sessions, and guided exploration that inspire youth to engage with audio content and sustain that engagement over time, with a minimum of biweekly touchpoints.
- Measuring impact is central to this collaboration.
- They are looking for organisations that are committed to collecting meaningful data on youth engagement and outcomes, and to sharing those insights so that together we can elevate the impact of audio stories in youth development.
