The Australian Cultural Diplomacy Grants Program (ACDGP) is a flagship initiative by the Australian Government to project a modern, creative, and diverse image of Australia to the world. By funding international cultural exchanges, the program seeks to build people-to-people links and strengthen bilateral relationships, particularly within the Indo-Pacific region.
Grant Range: AUD 10,000 to AUD 60,000.
The ACDGP is restricted to Australian-based entities and individuals.
Eligible Applicants:
Individual Professionals: Australian citizens and permanent residents.
Corporate Entities: Companies and not-for-profit organizations incorporated in Australia.
Indigenous Entities: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander corporations.
Government Bodies: Local and state government agencies.
Ineligible Applicants:
Overseas organizations or foreign entities.
Applicants with outstanding acquittals or breaches of previous Australian Government funding.
Verify Alignment: Ensure the project supports at least one pillar of the “Revive” policy.
Identify Partners: Secure an international partner or institution to host or co-deliver the project.
Check Geography: Prioritize delivery in the Pacific or other strategically relevant international locations.
Prepare Proposal: Outline clear outcomes for cultural diplomacy and audience engagement.
