About Banyule City Council - Sport Travel Grant Program
The program is administered by Banyule City Council to help local athletes overcome financial barriers associated with sporting travel.
Funding is intended for eligible costs directly related to participation in a qualifying sporting event, competition, or representative opportunity.
The program also promotes inclusive participation by providing enhanced support for eligible athletes with disabilities participating in Access All Abilities programs or competitions.

Applicants must meet the program’s eligibility requirements.
Eligible applicants must:
- Be a permanent resident of the City of Banyule.
- Have been selected for a representative team or qualified to participate in a national, international, or similar sporting competition.
- Apply before the required travel takes place.
- Meet the requirements of the relevant grant round.
- Not have received a Banyule Sports Travel Grant within the previous two years.
