About Berkman Klein Center Summer Internship Program
The Berkman Klein Center’s Summer Internship Program gives interns the opportunity to become deeply embedded within the projects and work happening across the Center. Interns spend the summer months working side-by-side with Berkman Klein staff, faculty, and scholars to keep projects moving forward, learning along the way. Interns will make valuable contributions over the course of the summer, to a wide range of projects based on the Center’s needs and the intern’s skills.
Benefits of Berkman Klein Center Summer Internship Program
- The hourly wage for these positions is at the standard research assistant rate of $21/hour.
Berkman Klein Center Summer Internship Program Requirements
The internship program has specific eligibility criteria due to administrative and employment requirements.
Applicants must meet the following conditions:
- Be an undergraduate student, graduate student, or early-career scholar.
- Reside in and work from an eligible U.S. state during the internship period.
- Possess valid authorization to work in the United States.
- Have reliable internet access and a personal computer for remote work.
- Be available for the full internship duration from early June to mid-August 2026.
