About Bridging the Gap International Policy Summer Institute (IPSI) Program
IPSI is a five-day professional development program for professors (all ranks) and post-docs in the field of international affairs who want to build the tools and networks to produce and disseminate policy-relevant academic research.
Benefits of Bridging the Gap International Policy Summer Institute (IPSI) Program
- There is no charge for IPSI. Bridging the Gap will cover domestic travel to Washington, hotel accommodations and meals for all participants throughout the program. For participants based overseas, Bridging the Gap will subsidize travel costs up to a pre-determined amount. They will do their best to ensure that financial issues do not prevent participation.
Bridging the Gap International Policy Summer Institute (IPSI) Program Requirements
They welcome applications from:
- Both junior and senior scholars, including post-doctoral fellows, untenured faculty, and tenured faculty. A good time to apply is any stage in your career when you are seeking to acquire skills that can enhance your ability to make connections to policy communities and disseminate your work to audiences beyond academia.
