Brown University Scholarships Requirements

Application Date and Process
- For undergraduate financial aid: choose Early Decision (Nov 1, 2026) or Regular Decision (Jan 5, 2027) admission deadline
- Complete the Common Application and Brown supplemental essays
- Submit the CSS Profile using Brown University code 3189 and required parent financial documents by the financial aid deadline (Nov 2, 2026 for ED, Feb 1, 2027 for RD)
- Upload parent tax returns or income statements (with English translations) as requested
- For PhD funding: apply directly to a Brown doctoral program through the Graduate School application system by the program-specific deadline (Nov 2026–Jan 2027)
- Prepare a statement of purpose, CV, three recommendation letters, and required test scores (GRE, TOEFL/IELTS) for the PhD application
- No separate PhD funding application is required; admission includes the funding package
- For MPA scholarships: submit the MPA admission application during the next application cycle (scholarship consideration is automatic)
