Opportunity Details
The Business and Climate Media Initiative Seed Grants are offered by Earth Journalism Network (EJN) to support media outlets in Thailand and Indonesia. The goal is to fund new media programming that explores how businesses engage with climate change.
Funding: Up to €8,000 per outlet.
Open to various media formats: newspapers, online platforms, radio, TV, multimedia, and social media.
Must propose a new program with at least five stories or episodes.
Projects should aim for sustainability beyond the grant period.
Transparency about use of generative AI tools is required.

Start Your Application
Go to the grant opportunity page.
Click “Apply now” to begin.

Prepare Required Documents
Budget Template: Download and fill out the Excel spreadsheet with detailed justification for your requested amount.
Proposal: Include your media programming idea, expected outputs (at least five stories or episodes), and sustainability plan.
Language: Applications are accepted in English, Thai, or Bahasa Indonesia.
Submit Before Deadline
Deadline: November 10, 2025, 11:59 PM (Asia/Jakarta).
Late submissions will not be considered.
