University of British Columbia Fellowships Requirements
- Canadian, Permanent Resident, or International candidate
- Must hold a graduate degree in Computing, Engineering, Natural Sciences (Earth Sciences, Chemistry, Physics, Astronomy, Biology including Neurobiology)
- Must complete a PhD or be expected to complete between May 15, 2026 and June 30, 2027 (PhD must be from UBC)
- Must be available for the entire period from July 2027 to September 2028, including Global Meetings
Application Date and Process
- Submit application materials to your graduate program
- Include a CV of the nominee (maximum three pages)
- Include a Statement from the nominee (maximum one page) addressing alignment with the Schmidt Fellows program and collaborative spirit
- Include a Proposal from the nominee (maximum two pages) addressing potential postdoctoral research direction and rationale for up to three potential postdoctoral Fellowship labs
