Opportunity Details
This special action is aimed at building up new cooperative ties for high-tech and innovation driven institutions within BRICS, as a critical catalyst for economic development and improved quality of life of the people in the BRICS nations by allocation of funding for research and development carried out by initiatives addressing innovation.
Funding is provided by each country’s organization based on national priorities.
Evaluation criteria include:
Technical content
Go-to-market strategy
Financial credibility
Project management
International collaboration value
Expected technological, economic, and societal impact
Projects must involve at least two BRICS countries.
One partner must act as the Project Coordinator.
Technologies should be validated and tested in relevant environments.
Applicants must submit:
A Joint Application Form (JAF) to the BRICS STI Secretariat.
A national component to their respective funding organization.
Each country follows its own eligibility rules and procedures.
