The Small Grants program provides funding to improve and modernise village halls, enabling them to deliver meaningful activities and services for local communities. The program prioritises projects that demonstrate positive social, economic, and environmental impact.
Grant amount: £2,000–£5,000
Organisations must hold a freehold or leasehold interest in the village hall
Leasehold applicants must have at least 21 years remaining on the lease at the time of application
Projects must focus on capital improvements to modernise or upgrade the building
Identify the capital improvements needed to enhance the village hall’s ability to deliver community activities
Prepare a clear budget demonstrating total project cost and funding sources for the remaining 80%
Confirm ownership or leasehold status of the hall
Submit the application within the program guidelines for review
