The Film and Video Arts Scholarship is designed to support young and emerging film and video artists in Alberta who show strong creative potential and a commitment to professional development in film and media arts. The scholarship is intended for young Alberta residents pursuing training in film and video arts.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
Be residents of Alberta
Be Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or Protected Persons
Hold an open study permit from inside Canada, if applicable
Have maintained primary residence in Alberta for at least one full year prior to applying
Normally live in Alberta for at least six months each year, except when attending formal studies
Be 25 years of age or younger at the application deadline
Be enrolled in an eligible film and video arts training program
