FASPE Law Fellows examine the motivations and conduct of German lawyers and judges in designing, enabling, and executing Nazi policies. FASPE then draws on these historical examples to help Law Fellows grasp their role and responsibility as individuals with influence in their communities; and to encourage them to identify and confront the ethical issues currently facing lawyers and the legal profession.

FASPE Law Fellowship Requirements
Applicants for FASPE Law must fall into one of three categories:

- Enrolled as a 2L or 3L JD student at the time of application.
- Working in the legal profession (including a clerkship) and having a JD degree earned no earlier than May 2019.
- For non-postgraduate law education systems, applicants must have completed their legal education and be a trainee or associate (no more senior than a 4th-year associate).
- FASPE seeks diverse Fellows with interests in Law firms, internal law departments, public interest law, prosecution, public defense, etc.
- Fellows should also have these desired qualities:
- They are at a formative stage in their professional careers.
- Open-minded, self-reflective, and demonstrate leadership potential.
- Capable of influencing their field and contributing to the Fellowship.
- FASPE values inclusivity and welcomes applicants from all backgrounds, including diverse religious, political, socioeconomic, and gender identities.
- FASPE encourages engagement in respectful discussions of controversial issues in small group settings.
