The Jackman Foundation Grant Program supports registered Canadian charitable organizations committed to excellence, innovation, and community impact. The program funds initiatives that preserve Canadian cultural values while addressing emerging societal needs.
The program supports projects and initiatives in the following areas:
Canadian Culture and Heritage: Theatre, museums, arts, historical preservation
Education: Learning programs, scholarships, literacy initiatives
Health and Well-Being: Medical research, community health services, mental health programs
Social Services: Support for vulnerable populations, community development projects
Contemporary National Concerns: Environment, public affairs, parliamentary democracy, Indigenous issues, and other emerging societal needs
Eligible applicants must meet the following criteria:
Be a registered Canadian charitable organization with the Charities Directorate of the Canada Revenue Agency
Demonstrate a commitment to excellence and community impact
Focus on projects aligning with the foundation’s priority areas
Religious institutions are no longer eligible for funding
