Karne Kunst Berlin is a community-centered arts organization based in Berlin that works at the intersection of contemporary art, cultural practice, and social engagement. Community is central to Karne Kunst Berlin’s mission. Its programmes grow through long-term relationships with artists, cultural workers, neighbors, and partner organizations engaged in feminist, migrant, queer, and decolonial practices. The organization prioritizes dialogue, care, collaboration, and situated artistic practices over polished outcomes or large-scale production.
Selected projects receive:

Curatorial guidance and conceptual support
Organizational and production assistance
Visibility through Karne Kunst Berlin’s communication channels
Support for mediation or audience engagement, when relevant
A working approach centered on dialogue, collaboration, and care

Applicants should be working within or engaging critically with feminist, migrant, queer, or decolonial frameworks.
There are no restrictions on nationality, but applicants should consider that travel costs are not covered.
