The Northern Ireland Community Relations Council's Core Funding Scheme provides support for organisations which are considered of strategic importance in promoting community relations work across the region.
Annual budget: ~£1.2 million.
Supports around 30 organizations yearly.
Grants typically range from £20,000 to £80,000 (average: £42,000).
For 2025–2026, £600,000 is allocated for new applications.
Must operate in Northern Ireland and manage public funds responsibly.
Required documentation includes:
Audited and management accounts
Financial systems evidence
A current Community Relations, Good Relations, or Equality Policy
Proposals must align with the programme’s objectives and be complete.
