About OHCHR Indigenous Fellowship Programme
The OHCHR Indigenous Fellowship Programme 2027 provides indigenous individuals with specialised training on the United Nations human rights system and mechanisms related to indigenous peoples’ rights. The four-week programme in Geneva strengthens indigenous advocacy, leadership, and community capacity by equipping participants with knowledge to promote and protect indigenous rights worldwide.
Benefits of OHCHR Indigenous Fellowship Programme
Selected fellows receive support to participate in the programme.
The fellowship provides:
- Return international airfare
- Living expenses during the training period
- Basic health insurance coverage
This support helps participants attend the Geneva-based programme without financial barriers.
