The STIAS Fellowships 2027, a fully funded program offered by the Stellenbosch Institute for Advanced Study (STIAS) in South Africa. The fully funded fellowship provides scholars and artists with the finanacial support, interdisciplinary community and protected time needed to make meaningful progress on ambitious research or creative projects.
Comprehensive financial support: office space, stipend, weekday lunches, accommodation, and travel.
Protected time free from teaching or administrative duties.
Access to an interdisciplinary community for collaboration and networking.
Open to both emerging and established scholars, scientists, and artists; Individual Fellowship (researchers,academics)
Applicants should have strong projects or creative work in progress.
Interdisciplinary engagement is encouraged.
