About Sumitomo Electric Global Internship
The Global Internship Program offers students a unique opportunity to gain practical experiences at Sumitomo Electric's R&D labs and corporate headquarters in Japan. The program started in 2012, and around 100 students from around the world have participated.

Sumitomo Electric Global Internship Requirements
- Applicants should meet the requirements of the internship they wish to apply for.
- Students currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing BA/BS degrees are eligible to apply for this Sumitomo Electric Global Internship.
- They should have a basic knowledge of MS Word, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Interns should have good attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
- They should also have excellent written or oral communication skills in English.
