About UN Women Audit Internship

The Internal Audit Service (IAS) of the Independent Evaluation, Audit, and Investigations Services (IEAIS) is responsible for the internal audit function to UN Women. IAS provides independent, objective assurance on the adequacy and effectiveness of governance arrangements, risk management and controls. It manages the internal audit function for UN Women covering its Headquarters and offices away from headquarters.

  • Additionally, interns will gain hands-on experience in audit and evaluation processes. 
  • Moreover, candidates will work with data analytics tools like PowerBI. 
  • Furthermore, interns will develop skills in AI-supported audit techniques. 
  • However, this internship also offers international exposure in a UN organization. 

UN Women Audit Internship Requirements

  • First, the internship in USA is open to applicants from all countries. 
  • Moreover, candidates must be enrolled in a graduate program or in the final year of a bachelor’s degree. 
  • In addition, graduates can apply if they start the internship within two years of completing their degree. 
  • Furthermore, applicants must have academic background related to data analytics, audit, or relevant fields. 
  • Finally, candidates must have strong English communication skills to apply for these UN internships. 

Application Date and Process

  • All applicants must submit a completed and signed P.11 form with their application.
  • Due to the high volume of applications received, UN Women can ONLY contact successful candidates.
  • The successful candidate will be required to provide proof of enrollment in a valid health insurance plan at the duty station of the internship, proof of school enrollment or degree, a scanned copy of their passport/national ID and a copy of a valid visa (as applicable).
