- Participants who complete the programme will gain practical skills, business development support, financial literacy and marketing knowledge, and access to mentorship networks. Subject to performance and commitment, participants may also receive startup kits to help launch or strengthen income‑generating activities. Through this initiative, the BRACE4PEACE Programme aims to empower youth and women as agents of economic resilience and peace, contributing to safer, more cohesive, and prosperous communities.
UNDP - The Peacebuilding and PVE in East Africa Programme Requirements
- A resident of Isiolo, Samburu, Kisumu, Kilifi, or Nairobi Counties
- A youth aged 18-35 years OR a woman of any age from a vulnerable background
- From a low-income household or female-headed household
- Willing to join and actively participate in a Self-Help Group within your community
- Able to commit to attending all training sessions and mentorship activities between the months of May and December 2026
