UNESCO Internship Programme Requirements
- Applicants must be at least 20 years old at the time of application.
- The internship in Paris is open to students and recent graduates.
- They must be currently enrolled in a graduate program such as a Master’s, PhD, second university degree or higher).
- Similarly, if they are graduates, they should have graduated within the past 12 months from a Master’s, PhD, or second degree as mentioned above.
- Those with only a completed bachelor’s degree who are not pursuing further studies are not eligible for this United Nations internship.
- Candidates in secretarial/assistant or technical/professional assignments should be enrolled in or recently graduated (within the last year) from a specialized technical, professional or secretarial institute and should be in the final year of their studies at the time of application.
- Moreover, strong command of English or French is essential.
- All interns should have good understanding of computer systems and standard office software is essential.
- Interns are responsible for their own visa, travel and comprehensive health insurance for the full duration of the UN internship program 2026.
- They must be able to work as part of a diverse and multicultural team.
- All candidates should show good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
