The University of Lausanne (UNIL) awards around ten excellence scholarships each year to outstanding international students who wish to pursue a master’s program at UNIL. The scholarship supports academic excellence but is not fully funded—it provides partial financial assistance for the duration of the chosen program.

University of Lausanne Masters Scholarship Requirements
International students who:
- Hold a foreign university degree equivalent to a Swiss bachelor’s degree before starting the program
- Have exceptional academic records
- Demonstrate C1 proficiency in French or English (depending on program language)
- Are not already registered at UNIL
- Submit a complete application with a CHF 200 administrative fee
