VKB BCom Information Systems Bursary Requirements

To be considered, applicants must satisfy several criteria depending on their current academic level:

For Grade 12 Applicants

• Must have a valid South African identity document
• National Senior Certificate with a minimum average of 70%
• Upload the latest Grade 11 results and current Grade 12 results

For Tertiary (University) Students

• Must be enrolled at an accredited South African tertiary institution
• Achieve at least 60% average in major subjects
• Submit full academic record, including 2025 results

Additional Conditions

• Willingness to complete vacation work at one of VKB’s regional head offices
• Openness to relocation after studies or fulfilling a work-back obligation
• Fluency in English and Afrikaans, both spoken and written

Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted, and VKB reserves the right not to award a bursary if no suitable candidate is found.

Application Date and Process

1. Prepare all required documents in PDF format (academic records, identity documentation, etc.).
2. Use Google Chrome to access the bursary portal (this is specified for compatibility).
3. Complete the online application form available via the Simplify portal.
4. Answer all questions honestly and accurately.
5. Upload supporting documents and ensure file formats are correct.
6. Submit before the closing deadline (30 September 2025).

Only complete applications will be considered, and it is advised to double check your uploads and responses.
