About YIM Macro Research Fellowship

The YIM Macro Research Fellowship is an academic year long program from Fall 2026-Spring 2027, designed for social science students who are ready to move beyond the classroom and into real policy work.

Fellows develop and produce an original policy brief, receive monthly mentorship from a professional, and have a chance to present their research at the end of the semester in Washington, DC.

YIM Macro Research Fellowship Requirements

• The fellowship is open to U.S.-based undergraduate students, graduate students, and recent graduates. We are specifically looking for individuals in Social Work, Psychology, Public Policy, Public Health, and related fields. Following standards, we generally define "youth" as individuals under the age of 30.
