About Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation - Gulbenkian Heritage Prize
The Award is intended to highlight exemplary and excellent interventions in the area of conservation, recovery, enhancement or dissemination of Portuguese heritage, namely in immovable or movable property of cultural value, in order to encourage the preservation and recovery of heritage.
Benefits of Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation - Gulbenkian Heritage Prize
- The value of the Gulbenkian Heritage Prize – Maria Tereza and Vasco Vilalva is €50,000 (fifty thousand euros).
Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation - Gulbenkian Heritage Prize Requirements
The following may apply for the Award:
- The owners, possessors or holders of other rights in rem of enjoyment over the property in question;
- The promoters of the interventions;
- The technical teams responsible for the execution of the projects;
- Each application must be signed by the coordinator / representative of the project team and by the representative of the client, indicating to whom the value of the prize will be delivered, if it is contemplated;
- Candidates can be natural persons, individually or in groups, or legal persons governed by private law.

- Applications must be submitted exclusively in digital format (PDF files) and sent by email to: [email protected]
- In case candidates wish to add large models or other illustrative and/or visual components of the interventions to the application, one copy will be sufficient for evaluation purposes. This copy must be addressed to:
