About Canada Council for the Arts - Representation and Promotion Grant
The Representation and Promotion Grant is part of the Canada Council for the Arts’ Arts Across Canada and Abroad program.The funding is designed to help Canadian artists and arts organizations build audiences and develop professional opportunities in Canada and internationally. The program supports activities that strengthen the visibility and recognition of Canadian artistic practices while encouraging meaningful relationships between Canadian and international arts communities.
Benefits of Canada Council for the Arts - Representation and Promotion Grant
- Applicants can request up to $30,000 per application.
- The maximum annual funding available to an applicant is $60,000.
- Applicants may submit up to six applications per calendar year, subject to the programme’s rules and eligibility requirements.
Canada Council for the Arts - Representation and Promotion Grant Requirements
Eligible applicants include:
- Registered or incorporated Canadian arts organizations.
- First Nations, Inuit, and Métis groups and organizations.
- For-profit and not-for-profit Indigenous arts organizations.
- Arts supporting organizations.
- Presenting organizations.
- Business cultural connectors.
- Foreign arts festivals.
- Foreign biennales.
- Foreign book fairs that invite Canadian artists to present their work.
- Organizations currently receiving core grants.
The programme therefore supports both Canadian arts organizations and certain international organizations that provide opportunities for Canadian artists.
