Chevening Scholarships for Future Leaders Requirements
Applicants from Japan must satisfy the general Chevening eligibility requirements.
Key requirements include:
- Be a citizen of Japan or another Chevening-eligible country or territory, as applicable to the award.
- Have at least two years of work experience.
- Have accumulated at least 2,800 hours of work experience after completing an undergraduate degree.
- Hold an undergraduate degree that qualifies the applicant for admission to a UK master’s programme.
- Have completed the undergraduate degree at least two years before the scholarship application deadline.
- Apply to three different eligible UK university courses.
- Obtain an unconditional offer from at least one selected course by the deadline specified in the Chevening application timeline.
- Commit to returning to the home country or country of award for at least two years after completing the scholarship.
