About City of Clarence - Cultural and Creative Grants Program

The Cultural and Creative Grants programme supports the development and delivery of creative, artistic, and cultural projects that enrich the local community. Funding is available for individuals and organisations working across a wide range of creative disciplines, including both traditional and emerging art forms.The programme encourages projects that increase participation in arts and culture, create employment opportunities for artists, promote collaboration, and improve access to high-quality cultural experiences.

Benefits of City of Clarence - Cultural and Creative Grants Program

Level 1 Grant

• Funding Amount: Up to $5,000

Level 2 Grant

• Funding Amount: $5,000 to $10,000 (excluding GST)

City of Clarence - Cultural and Creative Grants Program Requirements

Eligible applicants include:

• Community groups
• Resident groups
• Incorporated associations
• Not-for-profit associations
• Registered charity organisations
• Auspiced organisations
• Self-employed artists
• Musicians
• Performers
• Creative workers

Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

The following are not eligible:

• Applicants under 18 years of age.
• Organisations with outstanding reports or debts to the Council.
• Applicants receiving funding through the Rosny Farm Arts Centre Annual Exhibition Program for the same activity.
• Applicants submitting more than one application across Council grant rounds.
• Projects that have already started or been completed before the grant round opens.
• Incomplete or unauthorised applications.
