About City of Onkaparinga - Local Heritage Conservation Fund
The Local Heritage Conservation Fund support the owners of local heritage listed places and representative buildings to maintain, preserve, restore and/or reconstruct the heritage features of their property to ensure its heritage values are retained.

- Grant amount: $1,000 to $10,000 per project
City of Onkaparinga - Local Heritage Conservation Fund Requirements
Eligible applicants include:
- Private owners of local heritage listed places.
- Private lessees of local heritage listed places.
- Owners or lessees of representative buildings listed in the Planning and Design Code.
The property must be located within the City of Onkaparinga and formally recognised as a heritage place or representative building.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet the following conditions:
- The property must have heritage listing status.
- Proposed works must relate to conservation of the building’s external fabric.
- The minimum project cost must be $1,000.
- Applicants must discuss proposed works with City of Onkaparinga council staff.
- Required development approvals must be obtained before starting work.
- Works must not substantially commence or finish before funding approval.
- Applicants must have no overdue grant acquittals or unresolved issues with council.
