The Haymarket Activation Grant is designed to activate public spaces, business premises, and vacant areas with cultural programming that reflects Sydney’s diversity and strengthens community cohesion.
This funding supports one major activation in the Haymarket precinct each year to the value of $200,000.
The program has an inclusive eligibility framework to encourage diverse participation:
Not-for-profit organisations
Incorporated associations
Corporations and co-operatives
Trustees of trusts
For-profit entities
Applicants are expected to demonstrate the ability to deliver a high-impact cultural activation that reflects the community’s character, diversity, and social cohesion.
