City of Toronto Starter Company Plus Grant – Trade Accelerator Stream Requirements

To qualify for the Starter Company Plus Grant – Trade Accelerator Stream, applicants must meet all eligibility criteria.

Personal Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must:

• Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident

• Be 18 years of age or older

• Reside in the Province of Ontario (proof of address required)

Business and Program Requirements

Applicants must also:

• Operate a small business based in Toronto

• Devote at least 35 hours per week to the business

• Not be employed elsewhere during the program

• Not be attending school or planning to return to school

• Not be enrolled in another government-funded program

Final eligibility decisions are made by the Manager of Entrepreneurship Services.
