About DAAD German Academic Exchange Service Summer Scholarship
The aim of this programme is to deepen the knowledge of the German language, both in general language and technical language and to augment the knowledge of the regional studies.

The scholarship includes:
- coverage of the costs for the language course
- provision of accommodation by the course provider for the duration of the course (accommodation in a single room, e.g. student dormitory, shared apartment or private household)
- a one-time allowance of 475 EUR
- Payment of a country-specific travel allowance. You can finde the currently valid subsidies
DAAD German Academic Exchange Service Summer Scholarship Requirements
- Bachelor’s and Master’s students; eligibility can vary by country
- Minimum age 18 at the start of the course
- Applicants generally need at least B1 German
- Bachelor’s applicants must have completed at least two academic years of university study by the time the funded course begins
- Language certificates should generally be no more than one year old when the application is submitted
- Applicants must be capable of following instruction and participating in group work in German
