The DAAD provides the following advantages to help you advance your language abilities in preparation for your stay in Germany:

  • payment of tuition for an online language course upon receipt of the scholarship award letter, if necessary.
  • German language course (2, 4, or 6 months) before starting the study visits in Germany.
  • Depending on the project and participants’ German language proficiency, the DAAD chooses whether to support participation and for how long.
  • If German is the primary language of teaching or the workplace at the German host institution, enrollment in a German language course is required. German lessons may be taken online due to the epidemic.
  • The cost of a TestDaF or DSH test, which you can take in Germany during your financing term or in your home country after receiving your Letter of Award, will be reimbursed.

DAAD Masters Scholarship in the Field of Music for International Students in Germany Requirements

  • Generally, by the time of the application deadline, your university degree shouldn’t have been earned more than six years prior.
  • The individual music college determines age restrictions for entrance; the ad may vary depending on the applicant’s academic standing and preferred discipline.
  • If you had been a resident of Germany for more than 15 months at the time of the application deadline, your application could not be taken into consideration.
  • By the time they begin their scholarship, applicants in the subject of music should at the very least be conversant in the language of instruction required by their selected university.

  • If you have earned your first university degree in music at the latest by the time you begin your scholarship-supported study program, you are eligible to apply.
